Suspect sought in U-Haul store stabbing

Philadelphia police are trying to identify a man who allegedly stabbed another man repeatedly at a Northeast U-Haul store on March 2. A video of the attack has been posted on YouTube.

The confrontation occurred at 7750 Roosevelt Blvd. and began with a quarrel inside the store, police said. It escalated into a physical battle in the parking lot. The surveillance footage shows both combatants swinging fists.

During the fight, one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other multiple times in the head and body, police said.

The man with the knife is described as black, 25 to 35 years old and 6 feet 3 inches tall. He speaks with an “African accent,” police said. He fled the scene in a tan or gold sedan, possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
